Bayonetta is an action game currently in development by PlatinumGames and directed by Hideki Kamiya, whose previous titles include Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, and Ôkami. Like Devil May Cry, the game will focus on “Stylish Action” with over-the-top moves which the developer hopes will break new ground in the genre. Bayonetta is scheduled for release in early 2010 and it will be PlatinumGames first release on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
